RIP to the GrooveMaster

You don't have to be West Indian or of Caribbean heritage to know the song "Hot Hot Hot"!

Well, sadly enough the very talented creator of that party anthem passed away last week after a long and hard battle against cerebral cancer.


This legend holds a special place in my heart, not only because of what he has done for Caribbean music as a whole but more importantly because he was my uncle.

OMG! He Put a Ring on it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all!! So remember when I mentioned that alot of exciting things have been happening in my life during my time away... well the number one, by far, most exciting thing of all has to be when the love of my life Cisco proposed to me during our stay in Puerto Rico!!!!

Yup! It's official!!! We are set to become Mr. & Mrs. Babb! I can't wait! Sorry fellas, he liked it so much that he put a ring on it and your girl is off the market for good!

Hey what can I say... he's a man with impecable taste! ;))

Hi loves!!!! I've missed you guys soooo much!!

Did you miss me back???

I'm not sure if it's the increased work load on the plantation, bloggers' block, or my new infatuation with Stardoll (yes, Stardoll! lol) that has kept me away from you for so long but I promise that the drought ends TODAY!

Life is good and although I haven't blogged in a while trust me, there has been alot going on in my life! -- Mostly good things, praise God!
