Weekend Outing: AnEpiphany 2010 / Where hair Meets Fashion

A couple of weekends ago I attended the "AnEpiphany 2010" Hair show that took place at the spacious Dumbo Loft, in Brooklyn.

The show was produced by none other than the FAB Garvin Baptiste of Garvin Productions and was hosted by model/actress Shytina Love.

The show mainly featured hairstyles creations by the talented S. West!

Check out the pics:

The show closed with a performance by pop group Mad Moiselle

There were definitiely lots of talent and creativity in the house and the show drew a packed crowd!

Jean Baylor of Zhane shares her Testimony!

Hey party people. Since today was a slow day on the plantation (thank God) I decided to spend some time digging in the youtube crates to listen to some of my favorite oldies & goodies.

Now when I say "oldies" I'm only talking about the music of the 90's! And yes, while I know it's not necessarily that long ago, when compared the music nowadays it can seem like lightyears away.

One of my absolute favorite groups back then was Zhane.

They're SUPER talented and so naturally beautiful and their music was/is ALWAYS refreshing to hear.

As I started to question "where are they now" I came across this footage of the lovely miss Jean Baylor.

Check it out:

If you miss good music and you're interested in supporting Jean's new project (like I am) you can purchase a copy of her first solo album entitled: "Testimony: My Life Story" here.

I'll definitely be supporting this sister!! Go Get it Girl!
