I wrote these words on my facebook status about a month back but felt the need to re-visit these sentiments this morning:
The grass is defintely NOT always greener on the otherside. Most times our very own garden is perfect AFTER we do some weeding! First, cut the grass really low, so that you can see the garden snakes. When you spot them don't just let them get away with ruining your lawn... toss the suckers out! Most of us have a hard time doing that last part (slippery suckers) but I've learned that the sooner you do that, the more time you have to enjoy how beautiful your landscape becomes without them! :)

The moral of the story is... NEVER envy others and always have your eyes open to the people/emotions you allow into your inner space!! People tend to put up a front like life is great on their side of the fence. And I'm not saying that it's always a front. We ALL have issues that we need to address. Whether it's a backstabbing friend or a more internal conflict like low self esteem. Whatever the case don't assume that trying to be like someone else or wanting what someone else has is the solution. Look within your own space to find peace. What can you do to improve YOU!?! Once you tend to your own garden it will begin to flourish! You needn't look any further!
