(Co-owners Spag-Lo, Fe & Ju)

Over the weekend I had to show my peoples some love and pass through the 2nd Anniversary celebration of the Wagon Boutique grand opening.

The boys were in full celebration mode, and rightfully so!
Brooklyn Fly girl Camille stopped by...

The place was packed wall to wall as Obie (the party King of NYC) rocked the mic!

I'm proud of these guys. They have definitely brought the concept of fashion along lifestyle into reality! And I hope their store sees many many more anniversary celebrations!
If you'd like to stay up to date on what's new over at the Wagon Boutique drop by the store located at 1214 Union St btwn Nostrand & Rogers Aves in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Or follow their blog here.

What we Talking Bout?: Louboutin Edition

Ok so a couple things about my guilty little shoe pleasure!! I've spotted 2 of the hottest pairs in the next wave of Louboutins for the upcoming SS 2010 season.

Take a look:

In the words of fashion master RZ..." I DIE!"

These girls cheer me up instantly! Seriously how can you look at them and be upset. They immediately make me thing of crushing the Ocean Drive scene or stuntin on Rodeo.... or just shutting any good ole BK block down ;)

What do you guys think of them!!?!

Okay so now that we've mentioned what's hot... let's take a look at what's NOT!

I'm sorry but I am NOT feeling these new Louboutins that came out for the fellas...

Now the Chuck Taylor-esque ones I can actually see a rich skater boy rocking becuz they actually have that edgy grunge look thats sorta fashion forward and time warped all at the same time.

I guess my beef with these shoes are that I can't see any of MY male friends in them. I'm assuming that this is just a peek into whats to come for the male line BUT lord please let there be much more variety on the way because fellas.... this aint it!

But that's just my opinion what do you think?.......................................................................

Got ZARA?!?

Yes Yes Yes!!! I am sooo excited about this. I just caught wind of some very fashion forward news. One of my favorite stores, Zara, will soon add an e-shopping option to their site. I live for online shopping and this is just going to make my web browsing days alot more interesting. The Zara website currently serves as a "Lookbook" and is a great way to stay informed on what you can expect to see hitting the chain stores in the near future. However, with the option to actually purchase what your heart desires right there on the site you can eliminate the frustration that comes with crowded fitting rooms and racks full of peices in every size but yours.

I must say that I am a bit jealous that the U.S. will be the last stop on this train but better late than never!

Stay tuned fashionistas!

H&M Launches Fashion Against AIDS!

As you may or may not know H&M happens to be one of my favorite stores to shop in. Anywhere that I can get an entire look (minus the Fab shoes & bags of course) for under $100 is a wonderful place indeed. And all you recessionistas fashionistas better catch on and stop acting like you're too good to rock the hell out of a $20 dress. A bad chick can make anything look good. And a smart chick (especially in these times) knows it shouldn't have to cost much to do so.

More importantly this chain is doing something extremely positive and necessary. They have teamed up with Designers Against Aids (DAA) and countless celebrities to raise awareness to the 12 million youth currently infected with the virus. Here's a statistic that you may not know: 50% of newly reported cases of this disease are of people between the ages of 15 - 24.

sidenote: H&M is using organic cotton in the Fashion Against Aids line and they have increased their usage of organic cotton in their 2008 spring collection.

It's cool for us to rock the more expensive labels, but let's try to be concious with where we put our precious dollars and how it'll better our world.

I picked up this adorable Tee that reads "Girls Just Wanna Have Safe Sex"

Here are pic's of some of the artists that were kind enough to take part in this project free of charge:

Rih-Rih

Katie Perry

N.E.R.D.

Estelle

Dita

Loves it!

So, next time you're in H&M try to pick up a piece from this line and do something to help this epedemic that's having such an impact on the youth.

If you've already purchased your Fashion Against AIDS piece or if you'd like to share some thoughts on H&M's project, or the deadly virus, please feel free to leave a comment........

Sprouse Fever

While Stephen Sprouse has been a force in the fashion/art world since the 1980s it was the graffiti logo line that he designed for Louis Vuitton in 2001 that that made him a household name among fashionistas worlwide. The line sold out immediately back then... and its pretty much the same deal today. Louis Vuitton just released another line celebrating the work of Sprouse in 2009 and the pieces are already almost impossible to get your hands on.

I think its young, bright and just an overall cool way to add some fun to your outfit.

I recently rocked this Sprousy little get up to a club:

Sprouse leggings

Sprouse Sunglasses and broach

Please feel free to leave a comment about what you think of Sprouses work and/or how I rocked it.... Read more!
